1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Service. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Iqreative Design ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means the person or business using the Service.
2. What the Service is — and what it is not
The Service is a record-keeping and reporting tool for small and medium businesses. It lets you capture receipts, record income and expenses, organise them by business or by project, and view summaries of your own data.
The Service is not:
- an accountant, tax agent, auditor, or bookkeeper;
- a source of tax, accounting, financial, or legal advice;
- a filing or submission service to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) or any other authority;
- a guarantee that any expense is deductible, that any record satisfies any legal requirement, or that any figure it displays is correct.
2.1 Everything the Service produces is a SUGGESTION only
Where the Service reads a receipt, proposes a merchant, date, amount, or category, assigns a transaction to a project, or classifies anything as business or personal, that output is a SUGGESTION generated automatically. It is not a determination, a verification, or professional advice.
You must review and confirm every suggestion before relying on it. Confirming a suggestion is your decision and your responsibility, not ours.
This principle is built into how the Service works: automated readings are presented to you for confirmation, and are stored separately from the values you confirm.
2.2 Tax-related fields are estimates, not determinations
Where the Service assigns a category to a transaction, marks a transaction as business or personal, or displays any figure described as tax-related, that information is provided solely to help you keep your own records and form your own estimate.
It is not a determination that an amount is deductible or claimable. It is not a statement that any record satisfies LHDN or any other authority. It is not a substitute for consulting a qualified tax agent or accountant.
The Service records what you tell it. It does not decide what you may claim.
3. Automated (AI) processing and its limits
The Service uses automated image recognition and language models to read receipts and propose values. You acknowledge that:
- automated reading is not accurate in all cases. It may misread amounts, dates, merchant names or tax figures; it may pick the wrong total where a document shows several (for example subtotal, tax-inclusive total, and amount actually charged); and it may fail entirely;
- some documents cannot be read at all — faded thermal receipts in particular. Ink on thermal paper degrades over time and may be unrecoverable regardless of image quality;
- the Service may not recognise that a document is not a receipt (for example a summons, a bank slip, or a warranty card), or may not detect that two photographs are of the same transaction;
- automated categorisation of "business" versus "personal" cannot be determined from a document alone. Only you know the purpose of a purchase.
You are responsible for checking every entry. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of any automated output.
4. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- the accuracy and completeness of the data in your account, including data you accepted from a suggestion;
- retaining your own original records. Section 82 of the Income Tax Act 1967 requires a taxpayer to keep sufficient records for seven (7) years. Using the Service does not transfer that duty to us. Keep your originals;
- your own tax positions, filings, declarations, and dealings with LHDN, Royal Malaysian Customs, SSM, or any other authority;
- obtaining your own professional advice before relying on any figure the Service shows;
- the acts of anyone you invite to your account, including staff users;
- keeping your login credentials secure.
5. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is intended for business use by persons aged eighteen (18) or above. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
Roles. An account owner may invite staff users. Staff users have restricted access and cannot view aggregate financial summaries. Role restrictions are a product feature for day-to-day workflow; they are not a security guarantee against a determined user, and you remain responsible for who you invite.
6. Subscription, billing and renewal
Subscription plans, prices, and billing periods are shown at https://untng.my/pricing/. Prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Payments are collected by our payment provider (see clause 9). Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect for your subscription, and you may cancel before it applies.
7. Your data
You own your data. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display your data solely to operate and support the Service, and to comply with law.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your receipt images or financial records to train machine-learning models, and we require our processors not to do so.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Availability, changes, and beta features
We aim to keep the Service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, third-party outages, or reasons outside our control.
We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces core functionality you rely on, you may cancel, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded — see the Refund Policy.
Features marked beta, preview, or trial are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn, and are excluded from any service commitment.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including:
- Razorpay Curlec — payment processing and subscription collection;
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
- Anthropic, PBC (Claude API, United States) — automated reading of receipt images.
We select these providers with care and impose contractual obligations on them, but we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond what the law requires. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to record or conceal fraudulent transactions;
- upload content you have no right to upload;
- upload malware, attempt to breach security, access another user's data, or probe, scan, or overload the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service without our written agreement;
- reverse engineer the Service except to the extent the law permits.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this clause.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that its output will be accurate, that defects will be corrected, or that your records will satisfy any authority, auditor, or third party.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
(a) We are not liable for any tax, duty, levy, penalty, surcharge, interest, additional assessment, fine, or cost arising from your tax filings, your record-keeping, a deduction claimed or not claimed, or any dealing with LHDN or any other authority — whether or not the Service suggested, displayed, or stored the relevant figure.
(b) We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data, however arising.
(c) Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (i) the subscription fees you actually paid to us in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) RM100.00.
(d) Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 to the extent it applies to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal costs) arising from your use of the Service, your data, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law — except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
14. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time as described in the Refund Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if payment fails and is not remedied, or if required by law. Where practicable we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy.
Where a payment lapses, suspension, archiving, restoration, and deletion follow the timetable in clause 8 of the Refund Policy. Archived data is permanently deleted at the end of that window.
On termination, you are responsible for exporting your data. Retention periods after cancellation are set out in the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. Do not rely on us as your only copy.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms. For material changes affecting your rights we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the amended Terms. If you do not accept them, cancel before they take effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to bring a claim in the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia where that tribunal has jurisdiction.
Before commencing proceedings, please contact us at support@untng.my so we can try to resolve the matter.
17. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor of our business on notice to you. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
